J.D. Hoyt's opened in 1983. 

J.D's was named in honor of the fathers of the original owners.

 J.D. White and Hoyt Andrews. 

J.D. HOYTS expanded in 1992, doubling in size.

         Hoyt's is a roadhouse, located in the booming warehouse district of old Minneapolis. A cozy spot with an extensive menu, full bar and a wine list of extraordinary value.
